  1. increase their knowledge of the impact of police violence on Black mental health in educational settings;
  2. gain practical strategies and skills for promoting the mental health and well-being of Black students and families who have been impacted by police violence; and
  3. advocate for policy change to reduce the impact of police violence on Black mental health.

Description

This poster presents a review of police violence and its detrimental impact on Black mental health, and explores avenues of advocacy for school psychologists to support Black students and families.
