Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. gain knowledge of the factors that contribute to job selection and retention from perspectives of practitioners;
  2. analyze how their school district can use better retention and recruitment strategies to address the school psychology shortage;
  3. evaluate how the continued use of telehealth methodology used during COVID-19 can contribute to the satisfaction of school psychologists; and
  4. gain knowledge on the implication for the NASP Practice Model and the domains of practice within the model addressed.

Description

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors associated with the workforce shortage in school psychology as well as how telehealth services can be used.
