This session will help participants…

  1. learn about the literature gap surrounding the teaching interaction procedure and directions for future research (per NASP Practice Model, Domain 9);
  2. learn about the effectiveness of the teaching interactions procedure when implemented with preschoolers who have a developmental delay in social–emotional development;
  3. learn how to run their own intervention using the Teaching Interactions Procedure with fidelity, as well as tips to determine if this is an appropriate intervention for a student (per NASP Practice Model, Domain 4); and
