  1. explore at least one strategy for supporting adolescents with mental health concerns following a crisis.
  2. describe and discuss the ways schools can improve school reentry practices and procedures for youth following a mental health crisis.
  3. identify unique concerns for returning students based on setting (emergency departments, inpatient hospital, and partial hospital program).

Description

This session shares perspectives of professionals working across different treatment settings (e.g., inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization) treating youth with suicide-related risk, considering implications for return to school following a crisis.
