  1. recognize and understand the core active listening skills used in counseling that can be practiced and improved via nonclinical experiences outside of counseling;
  2. understand how podcasting may be used by students for learning active listening skills used in counseling; and
  3. understand how podcasting may be used by instructors for teaching active listening skills used in counseling.

Description

The poster will convey faculty and students' impressions of a pedagogical approach that uses podcasting as a means for helping students to develop their active listening skills used in counseling.
