Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. understand the effectiveness of the Zones of Regulation curriculum as a Tier 2 instruction for preschoolers identified as needing additional social–emotional support;
  2. determine if the Zones of Regulation curriculum improves preschoolers' emotion regulation, as demonstrated through the student’s emotion regulation skills as well as time on task in the classroom; and
  3. understand if data following implementation of the Zones of Regulation curriculum can be used to facilitate teacher consultation and continued intervention planning.

Description

Emotion regulation skills develop rapidly during early childhood. Learn about the effectiveness of the Zones of Regulation curriculum as a Tier 2 intervention for improving these skills in preschoolers.
