Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. understand the extent to which universal trauma screenings can be implemented within the school setting to inform mental health service delivery;
  2. identify at least four common implementation determinants (barriers and facilitators) to implementing universal trauma screenings within a tiered mental health system; and
  3. identify evidence-based strategies that school psychologists can use to increase student participation and teacher/caregiver buy-in for universal trauma screenings.
