This session will help participants…

  1. learn vocabulary for explaining outcomes for play-based interventions and understand how to make outcomes scalable and understandable for families, stakeholders, and school staff.
  2. learn evaluation tools and measurement strategies for analysis of brief experimental analysis data for examining gains.
  3. learn play-based interventions and how they may be adapted to the various MTSS tiers.
  4. discuss the practical application of these strategies through case studies and small group work.

Description

This conversation helps experienced practitioners bridge and enhance their MTSS frameworks in ways that capitalize on children’s natural affinity for play, are culturally and neuro-affirming, and create engaging home–school partnerships.
