This session will help participants…

  1. apply newfound resources and strategies to facilitate improved family, school, and community collaboration, as outlined in the NASP Practice Model;
  2. identify linguistic barriers to harmonious cross-systems collaboration; and
  3. analyze and assess their current practice in working with individuals of varied training backgrounds and levels of knowledge.

Description

To develop a shared understanding of behavioral health terminology used across agencies, the team developed two dictionaries. Attendees will receive these resources for use in schools and behavioral healthcare settings.
