Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. gain knowledge of evidence-informed suicide prevention programming in alignment with the NASP Practice Domain 4.
  2. build skills to support the design and evaluation of a comprehensive suicide prevention programming model in a K–12 setting in alignment with the NASP Practice Domain 5.
  3. gain knowledge of how a comprehensive design for suicide prevention programming can allow for school choice and support equitable alignment to school community needs in accordance with the domains of the NASP Practice Model.

Description

Presents a district design of evidence-informed suicide prevention programming for schools using a choice model. Participants gain knowledge of inclusive and equitable programs that support a comprehensive model of programming.
