  1. explain the impact and feasibility of an intervention package that includes an alternative breakfast program and mindfulness-based activities;
  2. apply their knowledge of alternative breakfast programs and mindfulness-based strategies in designing antecedent interventions for schools; and
  3. evaluate the importance and feasibility of antecedent-based interventions for addressing the social–emotional and physical needs of students.

Description

This paper presentation will share about the outcomes of a Second Chance Breakfast and mindfulness program in an elementary school setting. Implications for practitioners and researchers will be discussed.
