This session will help participants…
- gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of culturally responsive teaching and classroom management (CRT-CRCM) and its significance in promoting equitable education;
- develop the ability to identify key aspects of teaching strategies that could benefit from the incorporation of CRT-CRCM principles, thereby fostering an inclusive and respectful classroom environment; and
- identify how school psychologist can promote an inclusive school environment through consultation on CRT-CRCM.
Description
Helping teachers understand and utilize culturally responsive practices is critical for creating inclusive schools. Learn teachers’ current beliefs about culturally responsive teaching and ways to build capacity in this area.
