This session will help participants…

  1. relate estimated rates of mental health service use resulting from mental health screening;
  2. describe significant limitations in the mental health referral process; and
  3. apply recommendations from a systematic review of the literature to make more effective mental health referrals.

Description

Findings from a systematic review of the research are used to recommend improved mental health referral practices in order to better address the mental health needs of students.
