This session will help participants…

  1. assess the relative value of risk status in predicting rates of academic engagement and disruptive behavior change over time;
  2. discuss considerations for evaluating behavior growth to make informed intervention decisions; and
  3. identify ways to appropriately use two behavior progress monitoring measures among students who exhibit varying degrees of behavior risk.

Description

Learn new ways to interpret behavior progress monitoring assessments. This session will discuss relationships between risk and growth on two direct behavior rating-single item scales for decision-making within MTSS.
