  1. describe three domains of culturally responsive practice: physical environment, communication styles, and values and attitudes;
  2. use a self-assessment tool to evaluate their own cultural awareness and sensitivity in their professional roles; and
  3. use the same tool to identify the areas of strengths and growth at the institutional level.

Description

How can a self-assessment tool be used to improve educators’ cultural awareness and sensitivity? We will share our study and discuss implications for research and practice.
