This session will help participants…

  1. learn about prior research conducted on CW-FIT;
  2. learn the key components of CW-FIT and how to implement the program in school classrooms; and
  3. identify potential challenges and barriers to implementation, as well as solutions to be used when consulting and collaborating with special education teachers and teams.

Description

This study examined a positive behavior support classroom management program for elementary students with emotional or behavioral disorders that is effective at increasing students’ on-task behavior and teacher praise rates.
