- understand and develop community-wide interventions to support mental health of children from ethnically diverse and low-income communities;
- identify students with COVID-19 related anxiety as measured by the COVID-19 Anxiety Syndrome Scale (Nikčević & Spada, 2020); and
- recognize and describe effective protective factors that increase students’ mental health during or following a traumatic event.
Description
Understand the impact of COVID-19 on ethnically diverse and low-income high school students while learning preventive interventions for mental health protective factors related to trauma.
