  1. examine ethical and legal considerations relevant to LGBTQIA+ youth in schools;
  2. review recommendations provided by NASP and APA to create safer schools for all students and school personnel; and
  3. recognize the school experiences of LGBTQIA+ youth in schools.

Description

This paper session will examine ethical considerations, legislation, and recommendations for school psychologists to help establish emotionally and physically safe educational spaces for LGBTQIA+ students.
