Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. increase school psychologist's knowledge, confidence, and usefulness of school reentry;
  2. increase understanding of individual diagnosis, treatment journey, and the learning and social–behavioral needs of children reentering school; and
  3. be prepared to intervene quickly and appropriately for a child's school reentry; and
  4. facilitate family, school, and hospital partnerships and interactions to enhance academic and social–behavioral outcomes for children with chronic illness (Domain 7).
