This session will help participants…

  1. identify overall youth perceptions of the teletherapy experience;
  2. identify specific youth perceptions of the therapeutic alliance within the teletherapy experience; and
  3. identify nonverbal behaviors that are salient to the client–therapist relationship from the perspective of the client.

Description

Learn how children and adolescents view the therapeutic alliance during teletherapy practices and what can help increase client–therapist relationships when using teletherapy through this systematic review of the literature.
