Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. describe the GBG and its evidence base as a behavioral intervention, aligning with Domain 4: Mental and Behavioral Health Services and Interventions;
  2. discuss teacher perspectives around strengths and weaknesses of the GBG training and implementation; and
  3. extend the results of the study to school psychologists’ practice and implementation of the GBG, analyzing how the results of this study may change how they approach training and implementation of the GBG in consultation with teachers, aligning with Domain 2: Consultation and Collaboration.

Description

This presentation describes a study examining teacher perspectives of training, support, implementation, and outcomes of GBG. Objectives: Describe the GBG, discuss teacher perspectives of GBG, and extend results to practice.
