This session will help participants…

  1. become familiar with the current research on the validity of scores produced when using an extended time accommodation on an assessment;
  2. know the results of a research study conducted using national data on if and how students with ADHD use their extended time accommodations; and
  3. gain an understanding of the need to be critical and examine test process data to help inform extended time accommodation decision-making.

Do students with ADHD use extended time well? This presentation will describe a related study and offer information to assist with decision-making about appropriate extended time provision and use.
