1:00 PM–1:50 PM CST

  • PMD: 4
  • Cost: Included in Registration
  • Skill Level: Intermediate
  • Poster Session 9: Health and Well-Being

Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. identify validated methods for assessing the subjective well-being of youth, including the use of self-report and secondary reporters;
  2. learn about a newly developed parent report measure of child life satisfaction; and
  3. understand the extent to which parent reports and self-reports of youth subjective well-being and affect converge when rating the same construct.

Description

Self-report has been the primary mode of assessing youth subjective well-being. Consider the use of secondary informants on a new parent report subjective well-being metric, including the convergence between scores.
