This session will help participants…

  1. learn about the framework, activities, and lessons from an existing interdisciplinary program emphasizing collaboration between school psychology and special education graduate student trainees;
  2. adopt strategies for implementing interdisciplinary training in graduate programs; and
  3. acquire training resources for promoting success of CLD students with disabilities in school systems.

Description

Interdisciplinary collaboration is an essential skill in graduate training. The presentation discusses the development, activities, and lessons learned from a training program aimed at improving collaboration for future school psychologists.
