Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. identify the professional roles held by minoritized faculty and their experiences of institutional support;
  2. identify minoritized faculty members’ perceptions of their own mental health and coping strategies; and
  3. identify strategies to promote job satisfaction and well-being and job satisfaction, which may facilitate the recruitment and retainment of minoritized faculty.

Description

Our study will highlight factors contributing to socially minoritized faculty members' well-being and job satisfaction. Recommendations will be offered to improve efforts to attract and retain trainers within school psychology.
