This session will help participants…

  1. explore the current research that exists on reading anxiety and math anxiety in students with and without disabilities;
  2. learn what measures school psychologists can use to identify students with anxiety around academic skill areas; and
  3. identify ways to improve students’ learning outcomes through skills-based or coping interventions.

Description

Learn about how students self-report anxiety around academic skills in postsecondary settings. Consider how to address academic anxiety by implementing interventions and coping strategies for students in K–12 settings.
