  1. gain knowledge about BPT and CBT within a group-delivered intervention;
  2. integrate CBT strategies within traditional BPT;
  3. develop an understanding of the role of parenting stress on the application of BPT; and
  4. understand how to cater specific parent training strategies within treatment based on the stress level of parents.

Description

This research discusses the order effects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral parent training (BPT) in a group-based treatment protocol for parents of children with disruptive behavior disorders.
