  1. differentiate between functional behavior assessment and functional analysis methodologies;
  2. identify necessary behavior skills training components for the acquisition of functional analysis procedures; and
  3. discuss areas of improvement for graduate training programs regarding functional analysis procedures.

Description

A barrier to the implementation of experimental functional assessments is limited competence in experimental procedures. We are teaching practitioners to implement functional analyses efficiently through independent behavioral skills training.
