Learner Objectives
This session will help participants…
- learn about the implementation of an intervention originally designed for externalizing behaviors but used to decrease internalizing behaviors;
- learn how to adapt or create a daily progress report (DPR) that targets internalizing behaviors;
- examine the effects of Check-In/Check-Out (CICO) as an intervention for internalizing behaviors; and
- examine the effects of CICO as an intervention using peer-mediators to implement the intervention.
Description
A growing concern in schools is internalizing behaviors like anxiety and depression. In this session, participants will learn about an adaptation to an intervention that targets internalizing behavior with peer-mediators.
