Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. become familiar with common SEL programming and objectives;
  2. identify barriers to implementation beyond ECE and provide strategies for overcoming these; and
  3. learn a model for successful implementation, including considerations for children from culturally and linguistically minoritized backgrounds.

Description

School psychologists are integral in the provision of SEL programming throughout development. Common SEL programming, barriers to implementation past early childhood, and models for successful implementation will be reviewed.
