  • PMD: 3,8
  • Cost: Included in Registration
  • Skill Level: Intermediate
  • Poster Session 10: Psychological Services for Students With Autism

Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. apply knowledge of curriculum-based measurement (CBM) and understand its implications for use with autistic students;
  2. examine the challenges associated with the administration and scoring of WE-CBM probes due to fine motor skill difficulties;
  3. improve the current standardized assessment processes for neurodiverse learners; and
  4. advocate for fair and accurate assessment of all school-age children.

Description

Although CBM is a promising alternative to norm-referenced standardized tests, it is not without its limitations. Join us as we examine the utility of using WE-CBM probes with autistic populations.
