Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. understand current employment outcomes of autistic individuals,
  2. describe the critical skills required to gain and sustain employment,
  3. identify barriers and facilitators for autistic students in accessing and sustaining employment during and following high school, and
  4. develop more effective and evidence-based transition plans for autistic students.

Description

Participants will learn about the current state of employment for autistic youth and ways to improve transition plans for this population.
