Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. gain skills in using adult learning theories to deliver both hands-on and technology-based activities for teaching the problem-solving model;
  2. identify and utilize appropriate resources to build their capacity for training others in data-based decision-making, aligning with the NASP Practice Model; and
  3. develop a professional development plan for their own data academy, incorporating active strategies to engage learners from diverse educator backgrounds and promoting ongoing consultation and collaboration.

Description

Learn how to empower teachers to carpe datum (seize the data) within a comprehensive problem-solving model. Participants will identify resources and create a professional development plan for a data academy.
