This session will help participants…
- use early childhood developmental milestones in efforts to understand the presentations of ADHD in young children;
- learn different assessment measures and intervention techniques for measuring ADHD in young children within a strength-based approach;
- learn about different assessments and interventions that are culturally responsive to diverse children with ADHD; and
- discuss implications for the role of school psychologists in early childhood settings.
Description
This presentation will increase participants' knowledge and skills of developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive assessment and interventions for young children with ADHD with an emphasis on diverse populations.
