This session will help participants…

  1. discover the practical application of tablet-based flashcard sight-phrase interventions;
  2. understand the variables that increase efficacy of sight-phrase versus sight-word interventions; and
  3. explore the implications this study has for future reading interventions.

Description

Students completed tablet-based flashcard interventions to increase sight-words and sight-phrase reading. Both interventions were effective in increasing word/phrase reading, but the sight-phrase intervention was more efficient.
