- understand the four most important diagnostic utility statistics (i.e., PPV, NPV, sensitivity and specificity);
- evaluate the empirical PSW diagnostic utility literature with respect to SLD diagnosis; and
- apply diagnostic utility findings to decisions about using PSW for SLD identification.
Description
This presentation features a systematic review of diagnostic utility research regarding the processing strengths and weaknesses approach to identifying specific learning disabilities. Results can be applied to the identification process.
