This session will help participants…

  1. learn about gaps in school psychology research regarding demographic representation in studies about caregiver involvement and family–school connections;
  2. learn about the importance of representation for students with minoritized racial and ethnic backgrounds in research; and
  3. learn about the potential risks associated with underrepresentation in the literature.

Description

We conducted an analysis of racial and ethnic representation in school psychology research about family–school relationships and caregiver involvement. Attendees will learn about gaps in the literature regarding demographic representation.
