Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. identify the benefits of an early stage behavioral intervention protocol for their school/district;
  2. implement a program of 3–7 behavioral interventions that all teachers are trained and supported to implement to meet the needs of individual students who exhibit chronic behavioral concerns; and
  3. determine if one or more interventions described in this approach should be swapped with another high-leverage intervention based on common behavioral concerns/needs they encounter in their school.

Description

This session offers interventions to use as a starting place in addressing chronic misbehavior. Learn how to design a protocol of such interventions to reduce referrals for Tier 2 intervention.
