  1. apply the learned barriers and facilitators of provider led caregiver-coaching intervention models to future models;
  2. analyze the social validity of an intervention in the context of family engagement and caregiver coaching; and
  3. explain the importance of parent-coaching intervention models for young children with autism and social communication challenges.

Description

Early interventionists view reciprocal imitation teaching (RIT) as a socially valid caregiver coaching model for families of young autistic children, supporting its effectiveness in the Part C early intervention system.
