Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. gain an understanding of school psychologists’ knowledge and skills of AU assessment in schools;
  2. understand the implications of lessened access to care and heightened disparities with nonadherence to AU assessment best practices; and
  3. promote individual and systems-level change in order to reduce disparities in gender and for racially and ethnically minoritized groups.

Description

An evaluation of school psychologists’ best practice implementation of culturally responsive autism assessments in order to minimize gaps in knowledge, reduce disparities, and promote individual and systems-level change.
