This session will help participants…

  1. identify equitable and universal instruction strategies based in the science of reading;
  2. identify methods and tools to evaluate how well their school reading curriculum aligns with the science of reading; and
  3. use information gained from a reading curriculum evaluation to contextualize report findings.

Description

Presenters provide a model, methods, and results of evaluating the effectiveness of a K–5 reading curriculum. Participants learn how to determine if their school’s reading curriculum is science based.
