This session will help participants…

  1. articulate the importance of sexual harassment and violence prevention and intervention in K–12 schools;
  2. describe the key components of effective sexual harassment and violence prevention and intervention policies in K–12 schools;
  3. identify promising curricula for sexual harassment and violence prevention and intervention in K–12 schools; and
  4. evaluate existing practices of sexual harassment and violence prevention and intervention at current school or practicum sites.

Description

An estimated 30%–48% of high school students experience sexual harassment at school. Evaluate and improve existing practices about prevention and intervention for sexual harassment and assault at your school.
