This session will help participants…

  1. discuss strategies for overcoming challenges presented during the 2020–2021 academic year;
  2. identify the implications of the study findings for school psychologists and educators, and how to best support, recover, and heal from the stress experienced during the 2020–2021 academic year;
  3. understand the various stressors experienced by teachers across a school district during the 2020–2021 academic year; and
  4. reflect on the 2020–2021 academic year impact on school communities.

Description

A secondary data analysis of qualitative responses on the lived experiences of teachers (N=52) across 11 elementary schools in the Great Plains region collected during the 2020–2021 academic year.
