Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. build understanding of clinical symptoms associated with ASD, as well as identify comorbid challenges that may influence clinical presentation;
  2. learn evidence-based and individualized intervention practices for effectively supporting students with ASD, supplemented by practice in designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions for students with ASD; and
  3. leave the presentation with increased familiarity of robust intervention for students with ASD and have a well-developed tool kit to use in their future practice, including evidence-based resources provided during the presentation.

Description

Developing strong interventions for students with ASD is a dynamic and multifaceted process. This session will guide participants through creating and implementing evidence-based, well monitored, and effective interventions for students.
