Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn about the effect three specific school shootings had on parents around the country;
  2. learn how these school shootings affected different groups of students and parents in complex ways (e.g., different demographics); and
  3. understand how parents felt about their child’s safety before three major school shootings and how they felt after.
