This session will help participants…

  1. learn how to implement the 2x10 relationship building intervention;
  2. understand the importance of positive student–teacher relationships for students with adverse childhood experiences; and
  3. analyze the impact of the 2x10 for students with adverse childhood experiences and disruptive behaviors.

Description

Students who have experienced trauma are able to enhance the student–teacher relationship and decrease unwanted classroom behaviors through a student–teacher relationship building strategy known as the 2x10.
