Wednesday, February 14, 2024
4:00 PM–4:50 PM CST

  • PMD: 6,9
  • Cost: Included in Registration
  • Skill Level: Intermediate

Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. learn about using report card data to measure student outcomes in school-based research;
  2. learn about a system of grade conversion developed to harmonize grades across 11 school districts and 22 different partners schools; and
  3. learn how academic grades were used as an outcome measure in an IES-funded randomized trial, OST-T2.

Description

Although it is important to measure the impact of school-based interventions on academics, few studies incorporate report card grades as an outcome. Learn a system to compare report card grades.
