Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. understand some of the barriers teachers may face when implementing interventions in their classroom, with special regard to additional COVID-19 challenges;
  2. learn to integrate teacher feedback when developing and implementing interventions in schools; and
  3. learn about teacher feedback on a social–emotional intervention in order to understand how to partner with teachers more effectively.

Description

This study seeks to understand teacher perceptions, observations, and challenges of implementing a classroom social–emotional intervention. Using qualitative methods, the current study examines themes that emerged during postintervention teacher interviews.
