Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. describe the development of collaborative mental health training that involves both practitioners and graduate students;
  2. assess their own resources and how they might incorporate or seek out collaborative training in their own practice to enhance the implementation of mental health services at their school sites; and
  3. apply critical thinking as they evaluate their own skill set and need for continuing education or additional supports to increase implementation of mental health services at their school sites.

Description

This session will explore how collaborative training seminars that include graduate students and inservice practitioners might enhance implementation of school-based mental health services.
