Learner Objectives

This session will help participants…

  1. understand the student outcomes associated with peer-mediated interventions, specifically in emotional and behavioral development;
  2. learn best practices associated with peer-mediated interventions; and
  3. identify students who would most benefit from the peer-mediated intervention as well as students who would benefit from being the interventionalist.

Description

This review aims to investigate the research on peer-mediated interventions specifically tailored for K–12 students requiring emotional and behavioral support within the school setting.
